Most adult dogs need one solid walk a day plus garden or toilet breaks. Working breeds, young dogs and anything left alone for a full working day generally do better on two. Your walker will tell you honestly if they think the booking you've chosen is too light.

How much does a dog walker cost in Ireland?

€14–€22 for an hour, with a national average around €16. Group walks start about €10. Every county page on PawPals lists the local band rather than the national one.

Are dog walkers in Ireland regulated?

There's no state licence for dog walking in Ireland, which is exactly why vetting matters. PawPals requires ID verification and Garda vetting before a walker's profile goes live, and holds your payment until the walk is done.
